
We would like to explain first of all, why we have chosen the name of our company AVRINIUM.
We have found this name thru many different books written about the travel of Marco Polo, the first international cultural trader of modern era, in my opinion.
The meaning of AVRINIUM is the exchange of knowledge thru commercial trade. Knowing how the products are made, by who and the cultures that could manufacture several products that ware unknown by the western civilizations. This process started with a different mind prospective, not only the material gains was considered, but also a open minded spirit was necessary in order to understand the labor, the people and the traditions of those countries.
We have started this company, based on this idea. We want to provide to our clients a piece of our culture, our land “Le Terroir” in order to be able to share a wonderful moment of happiness. Our wines are made by talented and rewarded winemakers from the South of Burgundy. They are small producers, with high ethical values providing their nectars with the influences of traditional work. Patience, hard labor and passion are the three main words that characterize our winemakers.
Today with the positions of international trade and the consequences of the globalization, these small and talented traditional winemakers don’t have a chance versus the global players on this sector. Therefore we have joined our “savoir-faire” and we have formed the first traditional handcraft winemakers platform in the South of Burgundy.
Together we have build a chart of quality “The AVRINIUM QUALITY CHART” that provides to our winemakers the essential tools to perform their delicious nectars. The best part of building the company based on this fundamental values is to clear the way between the traditional cellars from our winemakers and our customers. One single line of trade.
We have created the first traditional B2B platform of wines from Southern Burgundy, that wants to protect the traditional values of the passion for the our wines.
