Total surface area of the appellation: +/- 2955 ha.
Grape variety: Chardonnay
Soil type: granites' and clay with silica. The clay coats the rocky and stony elements that are granite arkoses and schist.
Appellation extras: He is rather light, charmers, especially in their youth and, whatever the year, they are marked by floral and fruity flavors, with some limonite nuances. With the noses, best have heavier flavors of almonds and hazel nuts, typical of Chardonnay, sometimes raised even spiced, vanilla or timbered exotic scents according to whether ' they were or not high out of barrels of oak.
Winemaker personal notes: This is one of the must traditional white wines from Burgundy, we find a different configuration on the taste because of our southern vineyards position, that allow the grape of chardonnay to perform a better ripe fruit. Personaly, is the only white wine I like to drink.
